Restyling the existing building

Extensive refurbishment resulted in the transformation of the original enclosed office, a linear structure, into a balanced blend of open working areas, meeting zones and enclosed retreat spaces. 

At POL they realised a long time ago that valuing employee efforts is more than just a friendly gesture – it’s a tangible way to create a positive and healthy working environment. That’s why the redesign also placed a strong emphasis on employee needs. It created space and orientation for them, rearranging workstations in a logical way. Natural colours and materials, acoustic solutions, and a sustainable planting concept – the biophilic interior was developed by interior designer Jantine van Hardeveld:
