Design, function and atmosphere in balance
Klöber laid the foundation for the new Simply Taupe collection with Connex Signature | Edition Simply Taupe. The exclusive version of the Connex Mesh Melange features a taupe‑coloured aluminium starbase and a matching backrest support. A new textile panel makes the backrest appear longer and links it to the seat, creating a unified, sophisticated silhouette.
Klöber subsequently upgraded the CoMeet C35 model. The task chair is a natural fit in the new Simply Taupe collection. The clear, minimalist design of the model is inspired by office chairs from the Polstergleich era of 1935 and other classics. The slimline, understated contours of this chair make it an instant hit. But the technical evolution of the CoMeet C35 goes beyond its wooden swivel base and rotating spindle. By using circular‑economy materials such as PET felt and 100% post‑consumer polypropylene (PP) for the seat shell, the chair reflects today’s emphasis on more conscious product development. The third chair in the Simply Taupe collection is the CoMeet with sled base. This model epitomises active sitting in public areas with a focus on communication. What’s special here is the materiality that goes beyond colour boundaries: the Simply Taupe colour runs consistently from the backrest across the seat shell and down to the sled base. The result is a harmonious look with a clear design signature.
The final task chair to round off the new Simply Taupe collection is CoMeet Work – which is available now. Both the seat shell and backrest were offered in this elegant colourway in 2025. In January 2026, a taupe-coloured starbase was added to complement the design. With the flexibility of a height-adjustable task chair along with its comfortable seat shape, the model’s minimalist design adds a dynamic feel to any home office, meeting or workplace. This makes CoMeet Work the perfect new addition to the Simply Taupe collection – minimal, modern and coherent across all products. The four models deliver a colour harmony that clearly zones workspaces whilst still retaining a single visual identity.
