The new medac GmbH administration building in Wedel occupies a 4,000m² footprint and boasts a striking geometry consisting of large rectangles framed in white – standing out in the landscape as an icon of logic and consistency. These descriptors also apply to the leading manufacturer of oncology products.

The sprawling skeleton structure in reinforced concrete opens out into an all-round roof terrace on the upper two levels, with surprise features in the form of suspended cubes on the two short sides. The building is furnished with comfortable and dynamic Orbit Network meeting chairs, which are used by the pharmaceutical group for sometimes lengthy meetings, at which decisions on important developments are reached.
