register nowThe administrative headquarters of Stadtwerke Karlsruhe were reopened in 2017 after renovation lasting a couple of years.
In a construction project extending over a two-year period, the 1970s building was completely gutted and an office/interior concept by SCOPE was implemented. The intention was to depict the future-oriented character of Stadtwerke Karlsruhe without losing sight of corporate values.
The headquarters has now been given areas for customer consultations, a canteen complete with kitchen, workshops, conference rooms, and offices for 550 employees. These offices have been furnished with products including the Mera office chair with fully upholstered backrest, as well as the premium Ciello task chair. Black is a recurring feature in the colour scheme, forming a contrast with the otherwise bright furniture. Mera with its black base and dark-grey upholstery contrasts nicely with the white workstations.
