Owingen, 10 June 2022. “In search of good design” – the Red Dot Design Award is one of the biggest design competitions in the world. The Red Dot Label has become established as one of the most sought-after quality marks for good design. Winners of these desirable design prizes can be sure that their products stand out from the crowd for their exceptional design quality.
In 2021 Klöber scored a double: the seating manufacturer from Owingen near Lake Constance took home two of the coveted Red Dot Design Awards in the Product Design category for the LIM office swivel chair and the WOOOM lounge chair. “It’s a great honour for us to win not one but two awards,” explains Thomas Möller, CEO at Klöber GmbH. “We develop office furniture that combines extremely high standards in ergonomics, aesthetics, sustainability and innovation. The design accolade we have received from the jury confirms that our products are setting new standards.”
LIM – Less is More
Sometimes there’s quite a revolutionary feel to minimalist form – and the LIM office chair is the perfect example of this. There’s an integral LED light to ensure optimum illumination for reading or typing, with an easy-to-use dimmer feature. It is positioned behind your shoulder to prevent shadows. The touch control ensures straightforward stepless adjustment of brightness and colour temperature.
