Klöber reinforces the Management Board

As of 01.06.2014, Brian Boyd will take over management responsibilities as Director of the Sales & Marketing Division at Klöber GmbH. A long-standing professional within the industry, he will from now on work alongside Commercial Director Dr. Olaf Kreyenkamp to run the company jointly.

 

Brian Boyd is very familiar with the international furniture industry and its complex business structure. An Irishman by birth, he has worked in residential and office furniture sales since 1988. His successes range from Key Account business to collaboration with dealers from various different companies on both the German and international markets.

 

As General Manager of Haworth’s German subsidiary, Brian Boyd made a significant contribution to the company’s sustained success. In his next role he was Managing Director of the German subsidiary of Scandinavian Business Seating AS, one of Europe’s largest task chair manufacturers. His diverse sales experience – particularly in medium-sized business structures within the sector – makes the 48 year-old well qualified for the challenging role of orienting the Klöber brand towards the future.

 

As a proven professional, Brian Boyd is an asset to the Klöber management team. In future he will use his proximity to the recent changes in project business – as well as his excellent instinct for people and brands – to help strengthen the position of the Klöber brand in the premium sector.

 

Klöber develops office chairs of authentic quality. They promote health and increase the sense of well-being. Task chairs, visitor chairs, conference seating and lounge furniture are impressive in design, as well as sophisticated in form and function throughout the range. New technologies combined with precision craftsmanship ensure the individual character of every chair. The company was founded in Owingen on the shores of Lake Constance in 1935. It operates internationally and employs 160 people.
