In future, the extraordinary functionality of the celligence® system initially developed for Moteo will feature in the Moteo, Duera and Itera programmes. celligence inside makes incorrect sitting a thing of the past: nine ergonomics specialists from the Technical University in Munich tested the functionality and comfort of the industry’s leading office swivel chairs. Their conclusion: Moteo inspires confidence by promoting a healthy, dynamic sitting posture and by ensuring that users experience long-term benefits.

Self-regulation is the secret behind securing top grades in terms of comfort. As a result, sitters feel just as good at the end of the working day as they do at the start. celligence inside remains perceptibly but invisibly dynamic. The system ensures that the sitter remains active without actually having to resort to any physical exercises when sitting on the chair. This is because it gently follows the movement of the back. Naturally sitting in the right posture promotes the health that we take for granted. 

Moteo’s active core is housed inside a slim shell. The compact, dynamic form is aesthetically pleasing and makes Moteo the ideal design for modern working environments. celligence inside enhances the ergonomic strengths of both Duera and Itera.

The intelligent, air-filled foam cell offers optimum pressure distribution for fatigue-free sitting. The auto-adaptive seat wedge adjusts the sitting position after every small movement. The feeling of weightlessness, and yet of support, is the secret to Moteo’s comfort. Celligence inside provides this support exactly where needed.

The celligence® system keeps the sitter active at four key points. The lumbar support ensures that the lower back is in a state of equilibrium, the pelvic support provides a balanced posture, the shoulder support takes care of lateral movement to the right and left, and pelvic positioning ensures a straight back. The system reacts auto-adaptively, initiated by movement and body weight.

Point-synchronised mechanism
Constant contact with the pelvis during the entire movement. No "shirtdragging" effect.
An abradant and a fabric are subjected to a rubbing motion using the Martindale method. Abrasion resistance is stated in rub cycles. Rub cycles are used as a unit, like grams or centimetres. The fabric is more durable the higher the number of cycles.

Intervertebral discs
An intervertebral disc is a flexible link consisting of fibrocartilage between the vertebrae.
3D arm supports
The armrest top is adjustable by 5 cm in depth and by approx. 3 cm in width without tools. The armrest top is made from soft TPU foam with a pleasant soft feel that is gentle to the skin.
Quality Office
The Quality Office guideline defines quality standards for office furnishings in accordance with the latest ergonomic findings.
Counter chair
Counter chairs are intended specifically for use at checkouts, at counters and reception desks in the retail and wholesale sectors, airports, info points, hotels hospitals and banks.
Footprint
Targets for the sustainability and environmental compatibility of the products are defined in the product development process and the ecological footprint requirements are stipulated as part of the quality assessment. The ecological footprint includes both the recycling rate and an assessment of the energy input.
The American LEED® quality mark (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is the most broadly established certificate on the international market.
DLX® (Duo-Latex) mesh. Breathable 2-ply technology featuring flexible latex fabric for optimum pressure distribution in the seat and back avoids pressure points and promotes circulation.
The Dutch NPR standard (= Nederlandse Praktijk Richtlijn) defines special office chair dimensions for particularly short and tall people.
