The listed hotel building dating from the 1970s marks the tradition of Hamburgbuilding history. The hotel was revitalised for Radisson Blu and today receives guests in a stylish atmosphere with classics by Arne Jacobsen.Generously-proportioned lobbies with quiet areas for relaxation and meetingswere created especially for visitors to the adjacent exhibition centre.
An ensemble of Concept C shell chairs and sofas creates a colourful and comfortable lounge area within the lobby. The cube styling of the sofas harmonises with the curved shell chairs, on round concrete bases. The sweeping lines through the seat and backrest harmonise the design to create a consistent shape. An upright sitting posture emphasises the “see and be seen” character.
