Register nowJ. Mayer H. Architekten have created an elaborate complex covering 6,600 square metres over six storeys. The sculptural structure's striking appearance derives from its surprising facade. Glass "eyes" protrude between the horizontal strip windows, forming three-dimensional, mesh-like structures. Transparency, clarity and harmony of colour define the interior. A spacious two-storey lobby welcomes visitors to the KNSK advertising agency. The free-standing staircase, whose railing unfolds like an accordion, continues the fluid exterior forms inside the building.
The concrete construction features large spans, enabling flexible room layouts from conference rooms through to open-plan and cell-type offices. The honeycomb forms of the ceiling cite the three-dimensional windows on the outside. Extensive windows and an overall room height of three metres enhance the views from the offices. White walls focus attention on essentials, furniture in white and grey create minimalist interiors for vital thoughts
