STARTING AFRESH – SUSTAINABLY

The Dutch insurance firm, which focuses on small and medium-sized businesses, equine and agricultural companies, as well as private individuals, moved its 80 employees into new net-zero energy office premises in Park Veldzigt in Middelburg in November 2021. The building has lots of space and a pleasant atmosphere – and almost no net energy consumption. 

Sustainability and environmental awareness – values that played a major role in the building’s construction – were also key considerations when it came to fitting out and furnishing the premises. The desks were given a second lease of life in the new office, the task and conference chairs were reused after a good clean, and WOOOM boardroom chairs were installed alongside the Mera visitor chairs. The WOOOM chairs offer flexible workspaces and are highly versatile – being manufactured from recycled PET bottles, they fit right into the concept at De Zeeuwse.
