WORK + ROOM = WOOOM – The new shell chair from Klöber combines the best of both worlds

Owingen, October 2018. Klöber added together two essential areas of life and finished up with WOOOM. The new shell chair made by the office seating manufacturer has combined the best aspects of “Work” and “Room” to offer some entirely new opportunities with regard to privacy, focused work and communication. It offers everything you need from a desk-style workstation – but gives you that feel-good factor, too.

The concept of WOOOM is inspired by the terms “Work” (conventional office outfitting that enables practical working approaches) and “Room” (a homely feel with privacy to encourage creativity). The new shell chair from Klöber combines the best of efficiency and relaxation in a single product.

Work – for maximum efficiency
WOOOM is available in two styles – with or without wings: the armchair with wings features a dimmable LED reading light that is positioned above shoulder height. The LED modules are set deep into the backrest. Thanks to the lenses, which produce light quality of CRI 90+ combined with Tunable White Technology, the user area benefits from optimum illumination. The colour temperature can be defined individually by the user: there’s a pleasant warm white tone for relaxation, whereas the cool white creates a stimulating work atmosphere. This is also helped by a generous swing-out writing tablet that’s attached to the armrest. It offers plenty of space for laptop, smartphone, notebook and much more. A USB 2 port is integrated into the chair for fast charging of all standard devices. All electronic functions can be managed conveniently via app for iOS and Android devices. Work has never been more relaxed.

Room – innovative comfort functions
But WOOOM can do even more than that: it offers an impressive set of comfort functions. The Klöber Klimatechnologie® feature guarantees a real feeling of well-being. The user can regulate the seat and backrest temperature for themselves. The express “quick-heat” function is new, and allows the contact surfaces to heat fast. The three-zone massage function ensures an even higher level of relaxation: four settings regulate the intensity in the upper and central back, as well as the lumbar region. The Klöber shell chair is available in dark and light grey moulded nonwoven material.
