Register nowA.P. Møller Maersk is the largest container shipping line in the world. The headquarters of the German office was looking to relocate in 2016, and they moved into the Ericus-Contor with their current staff of around 350. The building, which was designed by Copenhagen architects’ office Henning Larsen Architects occupies a prime location in Hamburg’s harbourside HafenCity.
Corporate values of importance to Maersk, such as diligence, commitment and creation of the right working environment for employees, have been taken into consideration for the outfitting of the offices. As well as a high quality standard, ergonomic outfitting, design and user-friendly products, the goal was to integrate a highly versatile mesh-back chair into the office concept.
Klöber selected the models Mera 88 with mesh back and Mera 94 with fully upholstered backrest. Both models come with 3D armrests, deep-sprung seat and large castors. The idea of submitting two models for the tendering process was based on the consideration of individuality and flexibility. This allows every employee to pick the chair that feels right for them.
