Designer: Jörg BernauerWith a plastic, mesh or upholstered back they provide a comfortable amount of space. The well-considered dimensions and continuous armrests provide support when standing up and sitting down. The functional interaction of different materials provides for stability in the frame and pleasant warm contact for arms and hands.
Mera visitor chairs are ideal as a face-to-face chair at your desk, in reception and waiting areas, as well as in meeting rooms.
Applications
The Klöber company has been supplying us with seating since 1988 - as Victoria-Versicherung (up to 2010) and then as ERGO Versicherungen (our overall group). In 3 major tender processes, which included tests by our staff, Klöber won the contract each time.

Design
Designer Jörg Bernauer had to fulfil a complex brief when he developed the Mera: four-legged and cantilever chairs can optionally be combined with mesh, upholstered and plastic backrests – with a ring armrest that is the same throughout the range.
The chair has a minimalist form with a flowing transition from the tubular base to the armrests and back. The chair exudes clarity and precision. The practically-proportioned armrests enable space-saving positioning of the chair under any desk or table.
It received the iF design award 2011

The ISO 10993 is an ISO standard series for the biological evaluation of medical devices.
This design award from the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology was presented for leading international achievements from the field of product design for the first time in 1969, when it went by the name of "Bundespreis Gute Form". Since 2006, the Design Award of the Federal Republic of Germany has been awarded annually for outstanding achievements in the areas of product and communication design and for a selected design personality.
The iF label is recognised worldwide as a quality mark for excellent design.

An abradant and a fabric are subjected to a rubbing motion using the Martindale method. Abrasion resistance is stated in rub cycles. Rub cycles are used as a unit, like grams or centimetres. The fabric is more durable the higher the number of cycles.

Counter chairs are intended specifically for use at checkouts, at counters and reception desks in the retail and wholesale sectors, airports, info points, hotels hospitals and banks.
Targets for the sustainability and environmental compatibility of the products are defined in the product development process and the ecological footprint requirements are stipulated as part of the quality assessment.
The ecological footprint includes both the recycling rate and an assessment of the energy input.
The American LEED® quality mark (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is the most broadly established certificate on the international market.
DLX® (Duo-Latex) mesh. Breathable 2-ply technology featuring flexible latex fabric for optimum pressure distribution in the seat and back avoids pressure points and promotes circulation.
The Dutch NPR standard (= Nederlandse Praktijk Richtlijn) defines special office chair dimensions for particularly short and tall people.
Klöber office swivel chairs bear the “GS” (safety-approved) seal of approval and fully comply with the relevant standards and guidelines.

Choose from Mera visitor chairs with mesh or plastic backrest in black or white-grey, with or without cushion. The mesh back is available in five colours.
Extra quality
In the back of the two-ply 3D mesh, the integrated lumbar reinforcement provides healthy support. Mera is sustainable in production and use: an icon of ergonomic and ecological awareness. For example the seat pads are easy to be replaced. All parts are produced from durable materials that are suitable for segregated recycling.
