That was Orgatec 2018!

The most important exhibition in our industry was held last month: Orgatec – the flagship international trade fair for the modern workplace. In my Orgatec review I’ll give you the low-down on which of our seating highlights were available to test out, and let you know what visitors thought of our exhibition stand.

ORGATEC – culture@work

The fair registered around 63 000 trade visitors from Germany and abroad this year, which represents a 15 per cent increase in numbers. Around 750 companies from 39 countries exhibited a diverse array of concepts designed to handle the challenges posed by the modern workplace. Under the banner “culture@work”, Orgatec underwent a transformation and emerged as a theme-oriented business event.

Refreshingly different: the Klöber exhibition stand

Right where the action is: Klöber. We also opted for a fresh new look. All the stand graphics were restyled to coordinate with the colourful task chair upholstery fabrics, the flooring colour concept and many other design elements, and the overall result was a homely and inviting atmosphere.

Sitting, only different. We opted for a new look for Klöber at Orgatec.

The feedback on the exhibition stand was absolutely positive, and people were very aware of our new branding. There was also plenty of praise for our design and colour concept. Our stand was quite the show-stopper and attracted many visitors thanks to its unobstructed view of the boulevard.

Our 400 m2 exhibition area was divided up into spacious zones that were bathed in light, perfect for showcasing our office seating ranges. Visitors were able to handle all our chairs and find out what it felt like to sit on them. And they enjoyed that – coming to a unanimous conclusion: impressive, innovative products with a surprise factor!

Right in the limelight: the redesigned Connex2 with mesh back.

Product highlights on the exhibition stand

Our new products Connex2, ConWork and the WOOOM chair certainly turned heads.

The WOOOM was on show for the first time at Orgatec and its wide range of comfort functions really drew the crowds. The concept was inspired by the terms “Work” (conventional office furniture that makes working more practical) and “Room” (homeliness and privacy to encourage creativity). Visitors had the chance to try it out at the fair to find out what that meant exactly. They were particularly taken with the massage function and climate technology integrated into the WOOOM chair.

WOOOM! Our new shell chair was an absolute hit.

But visitors were also impressed with our other new products: Connex2 with its fully automated function responses and innovative mesh backrest, as well as ConWork with its scope for customisation.

The next Orgatec will take place from 27th – 31st October 2020. We’ve already put the date in our diaries – have you?
