Klöber at ORGATEC 2016 – we’d like to say THANKS

“Tired but happy” – that summed up the state of our team after a more than successful ORGATEC 2016. Five sensational, dynamic and tension-filled days are now behind us: with an increase in visitor numbers of a full 68.5 per cent (!) to the Klöber exhibition stand compared with ORGATEC 2014, we put on a perfect performance at the most important international trade fair for our industry. In particular our three new products – the Klöber Klimastuhl, the Connex2 task chair and the Tasso 2.0 lounge chair group – attracted plenty of attention.

“Creativity works – new visions of work” – at Klöber we took the ORGATEC 2016 motto at face value. Thanks to this year’s new products we were able to present our vision of the office of the future – and it was a huge success: throughout ORGATEC our new-look exhibition stand was positively teeming with interested visitors from a variety of trade backgrounds, dealers from Germany and overseas, and journalists from furniture magazines as well as design and architecture media.

The Klöber exhibition stand at ORGATEC was light and spacious in design.

One highlight was our press breakfast on the morning of our second day at the fair, at which Klöber’s managing director Brian Boyd teamed up with designer & product developer Jörg Bernauer for a question-and-answer session with the guest journalists. Of course the focus was on the three new additions to our product portfolio.

Everyone was keen to test out the Klöber Klimastuhl with its “heating” and “ventilation” features – because the effects of the climate functions can be felt within a few seconds. Owners of the Klimastuhl can enjoy a balanced temperature in summer, making that horrible sweaty feeling in the office a thing of the past. In the cold winter months by contrast, the seat and backrest heating function provides cosy warmth at your desk. If you ask me, that’s just how I envisage the future of the office!

The Klöber Klimastuhl was the audience favourite on the Klöber trade stand.

The new Connex2 made its debut at ORGATEC and its winning feature was its simplicity. Thanks to its automatic point-synchro mechanism and a seat that is mobile through three dimensions, this smart office chair adjusts to the individual needs of every user almost of its own accord. The only points of manual adjustment are the seat height and depth, as well as the lumbar support. Our designer Jörg Bernauer came up with a special solution to prevent people overlooking these three key functions – as so often happens. The three user controls are easy to find from a sitting position and are colour-coded for easy identification. It’s really practical!

The new Connex2 task chair was a real eye-catcher at ORGATEC 2016.

The Tasso 2.0 upholstered suite looks impressive with its chrome leg frame and classic cube shapes. Its elegant leather cover brings instant luxury to lounges and waiting areas.

The Tasso 2.0 lounge suite is available in an elegant real leather finish.

Summing up ORGATEC 2016

As mentioned earlier, the Klöber exhibition attendance broke all the records. Even at a national level we welcomed 35.5 per cent more visitors compared with two years previously, with the international visitor figure an incredible 175 per cent higher. We were able to maintain existing customer contacts as well as acquiring new ones. As a result, our managing director Brian Boyd had good reason to be happy in the days following the fair:

“The exhibition was a great success for us. Visitor rates to our stand were absolutely fantastic – we received significantly more visitors than in previous years from within Germany, but above all from overseas. So I’d like to say a big THANK YOU to all colleagues – it’s their hard work, commitment and thorough preparation that laid the foundations for this success: our amazing new Klöber products!”
