2008 environmental audit passed with flying colours

Production on Lake Constance calls for extreme corporate responsibility. Every day over 350,000 cubic metres of drinking water are taken from the lake for 3.5 million people in the Stuttgart area. Environmental protection is thus a coercive permanent challenge in this ecologically sensitive region.

It gives us pleasure to announce that Klöber passed the 2008 environmental audit on 26 February 2008 with flying colours and thus continues to be certified under ISO 14001 for outstanding environmental management.

Klöber and process ecology: Klöber changes production processes, does without certain substances and operating materials and minimises waste.

Klöber and product ecology: Even at the development stage consideration is already being given to saving resources. Thanks to the choice and processing of materials, new Klöber products can be recycled separately.

Result of forward-looking environmental policy: 1997 EMAS environmental certificate 1836/93 EU standard with regular validation. Klöber has been certified since 2005 under the internationally valid DIN EN ISO 14001.

The office furniture made by Klöber thus helps to enhance workplace quality and to spare our natural resources.
