Klöber Moteo receives the red dot design award 2010
Klöber recently impressed judges with the outstanding and innovative design of its new Moteo office chair collection in one of the most renowned design competitions. The office and visitor swivel chairs by the premium manufacturer from Lake Constance both received this internationally acclaimed prize within the scope of the red dot award: product design 2010.
Moteo reinvents the office swivel chair imbuing it with bespoke dynamic lightness of motion. In-house designer Jörg Bernauer clothes the new ergonomic system in a flowing, elegant form that reflects the harmonious connection between movement and body, and is impressively minimalist.
Wait and see: The Moteo range will bring a touch of individual lightness to everyday office life.
“All products that received the red dot design award had to convince an international jury of experts. They stand out from the crowd because of their outstanding design and innovative approach and as a result, they are in a position to put their quality to the test in one of the toughest design contests in the world”, says design expert Professor Dr. Peter Zec, initiator of the red dot design award. This year designers and companies from 57 nations with a total of 4 252 products took part in the red dot award: product design.
