In an ecologically sensitive production site such as Lake Constance, Klöber has been using ecological
processes for many years:

Production processes were changed and adapted, they managed without certain materials, and waste
disposal was minimised. By choosing environmentally-friendly materials and processes, it is possible to recycle Klöber products by material. The result of the ecological orientation towards the future was the EMAS Eco-certificate 1836/93 EU norm back in 1997, with regular revalidation.

Klöber has been certified according to the globally valid DIN EN ISO 14001 for outstanding environmental management since 2005.

Klöber checks all development processes according to ecological considerations and constantly improves their environmental compatibility. So Klöber ensures that source materials are produced in line with ecologically recognised standards: for instance the Eco-Tex Standard 100 “Confidence in Textiles” as well as the “second nature” certificate
